I'm a career language teacher who's been teaching English for over 23 years. I have the Cambridge University CELTA and DELTA language teaching qualifications. I also have a bachelor's degree in creative writing and a master's degree in journalism.

My personal interests include business and entrepreneurship, literature and creative writing, cinema, media and journalism, languages, history, philosophy, tennis, health and fitness, food and cooking, culture, history, and philosophy.

I'm a great listener, a very patient teacher, and love good conversations. Real, natural conversations are vital for you to develop naturally in English, not just in a reactive way, but also in an active way, so you're confident to start and drive conversations.

My international teaching has always been focused on General English and Business/Professional English. These are my specialties, but of course, I can provide you with any focus that you need because of my wide-ranging experience and training.

Everyone needs to have the best and most natural English possible. Thus, my focus is on problem-solving what issues prevent people from reaching natural, high levels of English.

I've even written a book to help International English Speakers (IESs) like you achieve this faster. The obstacles are usually phonology and physicality, the undeveloped 3Cs (of control, comfort, and confidence), and not understanding the difference between 'saying' English and 'speaking' English.

Sadly, what most people learn in school is to say the English that's written. What I teach is how to speak English as it's truly spoken in the real world.
