About me

Hello everyone! My name is Mila and I returned home to Bulgaria around 3 years ago, having previously lived in London for the last 10 years. I have a bachelor's degree in the Fine Arts. My experience in the professional world is amongst galleries. I have worked in several London galleries over the years, organizing exhibitions and liaising with clients. However, I took an interest in teaching in the past 4-5 years, as I have always had a passion for languages! I am fluent in English, Bulgarian. I have a foundation in Greek too, as I grew up in Cyprus and lived there throughout my teen years. In my recent experience, I have taught at Britannica ( Varna) and for the last couple of years at the English Academy (Varna). I am comfortable with all levels from A1-C1. Most of my experience has been in the classroom, although I have recently kicked off with a several online students. My approach is very personal, as I believe that is the best way to gently provoke interest and trust in a student. Having lived abroad my whole life, has given me the wonderful opportunity to absorb English and communicate in various styles and ways of speech. I am also in the process of obtaining my CELTA certificate, so do not be put off by the fact, that I do not have present certification at display. I dare say, that my practical experience so far, has given me a very rich feel for tutoring at its best and truest form! I love exploring every person's strength and tailoring sections of the language to their needs or specific aims. I promise a lively, natural and productive learning experience with me by your side!
