About me

✨ WHO AM I AND WHAT IS MY EXPERIENCE? Hi everyone! My name is Lena, I'm from Egypt and my native language is Arabic. I am an experienced teacher that has been teaching Egyptian Arabic since 2020! 📚 MY TEACHING METHOD AND MATERIAL USED IN CLASS! With me, we are going to dive into Egyptian Arabic in a structured yet fun way. I like to try different things with each student to see what works best for them, but mainly, my lessons are structured and I follow a curriculum that can be adjusted based on each student’s pace and interests. I use my own made PDFs that include the grammar structures and vocabulary sets with my own voice recordings for pronunciation. Of course there are plenty of exercises and their answer sheets included in those PDFs plus links to fun quizzes that I made for each topic and all the material we use during class will be sent to you so that you can study and review on your own as well! For reading and writing, I also write my own dialogues and comprehension questions to test your understanding with voice recordings as well so we can make it into a listening exercise if we want to. I also always try to recommend movies, shows and songs whenever you need so you can feel closer to the culture and to get used to our hand gestures, pronunciation and speaking pace! After a while, when you pass the beginner stage, the time for conversations will increase each class, and sometimes we would have full conversational classes! 👀 WHO AND HOW DO I TEACH? It can be fun with the suitable material and learning plan. ✅ This is why you should book a trial with me: - I have a lesson plan for each student, but I will include you in planning it with me if you have something that you would like to add. - I have a curriculum that we will follow, but at the same time it is flexible. - I provide you with each lesson's material + voice recordings that will help you with the pronunciation - I make my own material and dialogues + any additional material that you would need. - I recommend songs, TV shows, movies & YouTube channels!
