About me

Hi! I’m Chang, a trilingual Chinese teacher from Qingdao, China, now based in Paris, France. I’ve been teaching Chinese since 2016, and I’m passionate about helping students build real, confident communication skills. In addition to teaching, I also work as a professional translator in the film industry. I translate Chinese movies into French subtitles, which gives me a deep appreciation for language, culture, and storytelling. I also love traveling, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with my pets. If we share common interests, I believe we will have a delightful conversation! I’ve been teaching Chinese since 2016, both in-person and online, to students from diverse backgrounds, including complete beginners, HSK candidates, travelers, professionals, and heritage learners who want to reconnect with their roots. I use a mix of textbooks (like HSK and Boya Chinese), real-life dialogues, videos, cultural materials, and conversation practice.
