Hi! My name is Lara, and I’m a passionate language teacher with a love for intercultural communication. I’ve worked in international education for over 35 years, collaborating with schools, universities, and language centres across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. I love travelling, discovering new cultures, and helping my students feel confident when speaking a new language. I hold a degree in Professional Studies and several certifications in teaching both Italian and English as foreign languages. I’ve taught students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — including professionals, university students, and children. My lessons are always interactive, engaging, and tailored just for you. Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience in language teaching, working with international companies, groups, and individual students in both corporate and academic settings. My professional training and decades of experience allow me to offer highly effective, well-structured, and fully personalised lessons, tailored to each student’s specific needs. My qualifications include: Certificate in Modern Language Teaching – Westminster College, London Business Cultural Trainer – International House London Diploma in Teaching Foreign Languages to Adults – RSA Training and Development Certificate (Level 3) – RSA Throughout my career, I’ve taught adult learners of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers looking to refine their skills for personal or professional purposes. I also have solid experience in intercultural language training and business-focused Italian, thanks to my background as a cultural trainer. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and goal-oriented.
