Hello! My name is Ricardo Joahir, I'm from Guadalajara, México and I'm currently studying Applied Languages and Translation in Portugal :) Although I did not grow up in a multicultural environment, I've been interested in different cultures and languages from a young age. I spent hours and hours researching traditions, geography, flags, languages, and history all around the world. I managed to teach myself English before I turned 18; now that I'm older, I've been doing so with Portuguese. I believe that I could be of great help to your learning process because I've experienced how difficult is to find someone that truly helps you speak and improve your natural flow of conversation! Teaching Experience I’ve been teaching Spanish for almost a year, focusing on young adults and adults who speak English or Portuguese. My lessons are student-centered and practical, with an emphasis on conversation, grammar in context, and cultural insights. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, I adapt my approach to each learner’s goals and background, making it easier to understand the language and progress confidently. While I don’t hold formal certifications yet, my multilingual experience and personalized methods have helped students improve quickly and enjoy the learning process.
