About me

Hello, my name is Celeste. I’m a fully qualified ESL teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching children and adults. I specialize in helping kids and teens succeed in school, improve their grades, and build a genuine love of learning. I’m Australian but grew up speaking British English, so I can support students from any country or background. I teach a wide range of learners—from native speakers who need homework help to students learning English as a second or third language. I also create my own textbooks, designed for learners at all levels. My lessons are flexible: we can focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or conversation practice. I also include creative approaches such as mindfulness, guided meditation, and creative writing to make learning enjoyable and engaging. I love tailoring lessons to each student’s interests, whether it’s business English, public speaking, personal development, or simply chatting fluently about everyday life. I have four children of my own and extensive experience teaching students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and different learning needs. Learning a language should be inspiring, and I’d love to help you or your child find confidence and joy in English. I have over 30 years of teaching experience with both adults and children. Over the years, I have taught voice production, singing, music, theater, mindfulness, and yoga for children. I also completed two years of a Creative Writing degree before starting a family, and I hold a recognized TEFL qualification. I am passionate about English and teaching, and I love finding unique ways to help students learn.
